Join Us

We welcome new players from the more experienced, those who wish to revive old skills, to those who have begun to play more recently but not beginners please. A guide to experience is Grade 5/6 and above. There are no formal auditions as such. All we ask is that you have orchestra/ensemble experience, can cope with the music, are comfortable at sight reading and are able to regularly attend our Tuesday evening rehearsals.

As I’m sure you can appreciate we need to balance the sections within the orchestra and currently we would like to expand the following sections:

Strings (particularly Double Bass) and Brass (particularly French Horn).
